THE VISION
After starting his career in public service, Richard and his family moved overseas where he met expats who were struggling to find a way to navigate the complex waters of starting and running a small international business or nonprofit organization. Richard realized that his own education, experiences and interests had prepared him for this niche of serving clients whose were trying to do global good and do good business globally. These years overseas early in his career set the trajectory of his law practice to provide forward-thinking, comprehensive legal advice to these individuals, organizations, companies and institutions.

With over 25 years of experience, the scope of his practice has grown over time from providing counsel on a wide range of traditional business and nonprofit legal matters to evolving areas of the law such as social enterprise, corporate philanthropy, and nonprofit/for-profit hybrids.
